STRAPSTYLE is based in Bengaluru and every ring is made here. If you are in the city, we can meet in person, by appointment, to look at stones in daylight and try settings on your hand. If you are not, we do the same thing by video, and the ring ships insured to anywhere in the world. Either way, the ring is made for one person, around one stone, and nothing is held in stock.

How it works if you are in Bengaluru
We start with a conversation about the ring you have in mind, the shape, the stone type and the budget, and we are honest about what that budget actually buys. Then we source stones for you, certified, and you can see them in person in daylight, which is the only light that tells the truth about a diamond. A designer draws the ring and you approve the renders before any metal is poured. The makers we work with cut and set it, and you collect it or we deliver it insured.
There is no walk-in showroom and no sales floor. Meetings are by appointment, which is what makes it possible to spend an hour on one ring. For a surprise proposal, we work with you discreetly: no packaging that gives it away, no messages that might be seen.

Why made to order, rather than a shop
A jewellery shop sells you the ring it has. Made to order starts from the stone you want and the budget you have, and the ring is drawn around them. That is how STRAPSTYLE began: the founders wanted a 3 carat oval lab-grown solitaire, every jeweller in the city quoted over budget or offered a smaller stone, so they sourced the stone themselves, found a designer and a maker, and had it made. That is now what we do for everyone.
Every stone is certified, GIA for lab-grown, IGI for natural, GRA for moissanite, and the report number is yours to verify before the ring is made. The gold is 18k and BIS hallmarked; platinum is 950. Re-polishing is free for life. An insurance valuation comes with every ring.
The process, step by step
The process is the same for every ring. We talk, by video or in person in Bengaluru. We source the stone for you and send its certificate. A designer draws the ring and you approve the renders before any metal is poured. The makers we work with cut and set it in 18k gold or 950 platinum. You see photographs of the finished ring before it ships, insured and tracked, with an insurance valuation in the box.
Every stone comes with its certificate: GIA for lab-grown diamonds, IGI for natural diamonds and GRA for moissanite. The report number is yours to look up on the lab's own site before the ring is made.
Questions people ask
Do you have a store in Bengaluru?
No walk-in store. We meet by appointment in Bengaluru, or by video from anywhere. That is deliberate: it lets us spend proper time on one ring rather than staff a floor.
Can I see the stones before I decide?
Yes. In person in daylight if you are in Bengaluru, or on video in daylight if you are not. We send the certificate for each stone as well, so you can verify it on the lab's own site.
How long does a made-to-order ring take?
It depends on the stone and the design, so we give you the timeline with the quote rather than promise a number here. If there is a date you need it by, tell us first and we will say honestly whether it can be met.
Do you ship outside India?
Yes, insured and tracked, to the UK, US, Canada, Australia, Europe, the Gulf, Singapore and beyond. Duties are handled before delivery in most markets; Brazil is the exception and is set out on the Portuguese page.
Can you make a ring for a surprise proposal?
Yes, and we do it often. Tell us her style and ring size, or the size of a ring she already wears, and we handle the rest discreetly.
